The Magnum 120 from MARINI of Latin America was the plant chosen to produce asphalt for one of the most expected projects in South America, the Transchaco route. This route is crucial to Paraguay, very important for the integration of the country and the shortest way to reach the Pacific route. The Construction is under the responsibility of the consortium Rovella Carranza and Associates SA, one of the leading companies of road construction in Argentina.
The plant is located in Teniente Ochoa and works 10 to 11 hours a day, always at night, because daytime temperatures in this region can reach 50 ° C. Luiz Vazquez, the Rovella Carranza engineer, reports that the plant produces 900 tons per day of polymer modeified asphalt that sufficient to fulfill 36 trucks. About the project, Eng. Ezequiel Roman, superintendent of the consortium, said that the most visible change is the thickness of the asphalt layers (base and cover), which will have a total of 14 cm. For the production of asphalt modified, Ezequiel Romano said the selection of the asphalt plant MARINI Latin America was very successful. The engineer also highlighted the excellent performance of equipment, “the plant produces asphalt of high quality, this is because the drying process and mix Magnum 120 are highly efficient”!
