MARINI Latin America and Astecnia, the new dealer of Fayat Mixing Plants division in Colombia, delivered an asphalt plant Magnum 120 to the company Agregados del Occidente de Risaralda SAS. The company is located in the Colombian coffee growing axis (Risaralda, Caldas, Quindio) and currently serves several infrastructure projects in this region, which is one of the most beautiful and promising in the country.
The company started producing asphalt mix for a residential area, and after that, the mix was approved to supply the Pereira airport jobsite, located 44 km from the plant. In addition to the plant delivered in September, one more unit of the Magnum 120 is on its way of Colombia. The successful partnership between Astecnia and Fayat Mixing Plants division started in January and was formalized in April, during BAUMA 2016 fair in Munich. According to Carlos Ojeda, General Manager of Astecnia: “the alliance has enabled a market performance with the wide range of Fayat Mixing Plants comprising the brands MARINI, MARINI-Ermont, MARINI Latin America and SAE for the production of hot and cold asphalt mixes and also the BREINING-SECMAIR products for road maintenance.
