The 4th BEC (Battalion of Engineering and Construction) received BOMAG MARINI Latin America´s team during its pavement recovery technical seminar, which took place at the headquarters of the 4th BEC in Barreiras, Bahia. In the occasion, the company presented the complete road life cycle of the Fayat Group equipment from BOMAG and MARINI brands, detailing the technologies available in each phase of the construction of roads, since soil compaction and asphalt mixtures production to the paving and subsequent maintenance of the road.
The training organized by Lieutenant-Colonel Antonio Carlos Pavão Madureira, was attended by over 60 participants, including members from the Battalion , other military Construction Engineering organizations and participants of the DNIT, VALEC, UFOB and IFBA, among others. The training was delivered by the experts: Eng. José Edson Bezerra (BOMAG MARINI Area Manager in the North and Northeast) and Eng. Rodrigo Pereira (Products and Business Manager). Luiz Felipe Soares and Silva, student from the Military Engineering Institute and participant of the training, highlighted, among topics, the BOMAG exclusive compaction technologies such as Terrameter and Asphalt Manager.
