Brazilian City invests on the production of asphalt

The most modern municipal asphalt plant of Ceará state is located in the northwest of the state, in the city of Sobral, and was acquired by the Mayor Clovis Arruda in order to pave streets and avenues of the city, and later, more than 23 municipalities.

The plant, which has produced more than 4,000 tonnes since it began operating in May 2016, have paved more than a dozen streets and avenues improving significantly the quality of infrastructure in the city of Sobral.

The municipal works secretary, Mr. Ilo Santiago, explained that the decision process of this equipment was extremely careful and that the municipality chose the Magnum 120 model from MARINI Latin America after receiving recommendations from other municipalities and construction companies that also operate successfully with the Magnum plants.

The secretary also commented: “the plant is producing asphalt mixture of high stability, with a quality that meets all team expectations”. The plant is installed at a place near the city, which ensures the agility of paving jobs and the employment of more than forty people in the region.
